PRINCIPLE

 

The automated procedure for the determination of Boron is based on the reaction, after buffering  the sample of boron ion with azomethine-H to form a yellow colored complex.  EDTA and Nitrilotriacetic acid are added to eliminate aluminium, calcium and iron interference.

The color intensity is measured at 420 nm
